General Practitioner - Dr Zameer Panju

Dr Panju grew up in Kenya and practiced in a rural hospital before moving to the United Kingdom to commence training in paediatrics followed by training as a GP. He completed his training becoming a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and worked in the UK before moving to Australia with his wife and 3 children. He has worked as a GP in the Shellharbour area for the past 4 years as a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Panju Practices Holistically,looking after patients with chronic diseases such as COPD, Asthma, performs skin checks, skin biopsies and skin cancer surgeries, diabetes and hypertension, child health, micro-suctioning of ear canals and medicinal cannabis for certain eligible conditions.

He enjoys spending time with his family, camping,  and engaging in sports such as swimming, kayaking, squash, badminton and cricket

General Practitioner – Dr Temi Adewumi

Dr Temi Adewumi studied and worked overseas before moving to Australia with her family in 2018.
 
She worked in Wollongong, Shellharbour and Port Kembla Hospitals, before starting work as a GP. She has interests in metabolic health and chronic disease management. Dr Adewumi is also skillfull in more focused areas such as women’s health, cervical screening tests and contraception.
 
When she is not working or studying, she enjoys bike riding and movie nights with her family. She speaks English and Yoruba.
 
Dr Adewumi will be working Mondays and Wednesdays and welcomes new patients.

Practice Manager - Dianne King

Dianne has been with the practice for 33 years.  Dianne is a Registered Nurse and midwife with a Diploma in Community Welfare and with years of experience in working with rural communities. Dianne trained at Blacktown Hospital, worked as Registered nurse in several Sydney hospitals, public and private, where training included Maternity, Emergency, Rehabilitation,  Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedics, Operating Theatre & Recovery.

Dianne then took a position as Nurse Unit Manager at Westmead Hospital for a team of vascular surgeons, working there till she returned to the South Coast where she worked in several local Nursing Homes while getting an Associate Diploma in Social Work.

Dianne joined Shoalhaven Heads Surgery at its inception where she has continued to serve the community for 34 years. Dianne’s interests include but are not limited to wound Care, Chronic Disease management and Mental Health.

Admin and Management - Renee Southwell

Renee has experience in both admin and practice managing, and has been working in the medical field for 23 years, starting with pathology work and moving into hospital settings before she began working in practices. 

She is a fun and bubbly person who is patient focused and always happy to chat. She has not mentioned a particular favourite area of practice, but is a quick study and fits the relaxed feel of the Heads perfectly. 

She plays hockey and loves to read when she has spare time. Renee has two daughters and is a regular concert goer with her kids as she is a music lover.

Nurse – Sherrie Stapleton

Sherrie is an Endorsed-Enrolled Nurse of 3 years. Sherrie commenced her career working as an AIN in a Dementia Specific facility for 4 years. Sherrie is currently studying her Bachelor of Nursing and is in the final stages of completing this degree. Sherrie endeavours to continue studying and progress into Advanced Nursing Care.

Sherrie also has a background in Medical Administration having worked at previous general practice surgeries.

Sherrie is kind, caring, and, assertive towards patient care. She has a can-do commitment to promote patient health outcomes. Sherrie works exceptionally well with collaborative care approaches, as well as independently.

At present Sherrie works on occasional weekends and has a bright future ahead. Sherrie is compassionate, experienced, very hands on and will go above and beyond what is expected of her.
