Shoalhaven Heads Surgery was established by Dr Barry Gray in 1988 and since then the practice has served this rural area for over 35 years, providing care for the families of Shoalhaven Head’s residents and outlying settlements.
In addition to caring for our regular patients, medical treatment is also available for visitors during the holiday seasons.  The village of Shoalhaven Heads is situated south of Wollongong, about 15 km north of Nowra. It is surrounded by the natural beauty of the bush, beach and river. 
It is with great satisfaction that we care for multiple generations of families, with many of the babies, being brought into this world by Dr Barry Gray, now returning with babies of their own.  
The philosophy of the Shoalhaven Heads Surgery is to provide comprehensive and thoughtful medical care to families, and we work hard to keep up to date with the latest medical innovations and to provide efficient personal service.
A full range of services is available, from antenatal and paediatrics to aged care and emergencies, with a range of minor procedures and diagnostic tests carried out on the premises.
This is a private billing practice, with discounts for pensioners and Health Card holders, as well as Bulk Billing for Veterans Affairs, accounts for Insurance claims, with special consideration being given to those in genuine financial difficulties.
Our doctors are Fellows of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners – the respected professional body for GPs in Australia, and the practice if fully accredited with AGPAL.
